Jen Light graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1996, and was awarded a Skadden Fellowship. She served as a staff attorney at the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic in Chicago and as a staff attorney at the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. In 1998, Jen was awarded an Equal Justice Fellowship from Equal Justice Works to serve as a staff attorney at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice. In 2000, she joined the staff of South Brooklyn Legal Services, where she practiced in the Family Law Unit, the Disability Rights Unit and the Foreclosure Prevention Project. She joined the Skadden, Arps Honors Program in Legal Studies in June, 2012.
