Muska Akbari

Muska was born the Netherlands and moved to New York when she was ten years old. She is a first generation college student of Afghan descent who speaks three languages (English, Farsi, and Dutch). She is in the CCNY Honors Program and is majoring in political science and philosophy. She is the program coordinator for the department of student life’s peer mentoring program. Muska plays the violin and piano. Last year, she served as a senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. Muska is interested in pursuing a career in immigration law.
